On 27 November (Sun), the final day of Okayama Art Summit 2022, the closing

event of Okayama Art Summit 2022, the Round Table "The World is Changing,

Challenges and Possibilities of International Exhibitions and Art Festivals

Today" was held at Inryoji Temple.

Guests included critic Akira Asada, art producer Tetsuya Ozaki and Mami

Kataoka, artistic director of Aichi 2022, the International Art Festival

held in the same year, who discussed the significance, challenges and

possibilities of urban international exhibitions, while examining the

international exhibitions held in the same year.

Participants commented: "I enjoyed hearing a meaningful discussion about

the real benefits of art and art festivals." "It gave me an opportunity to

think about the future of art festivals." "I was proud that the discussion

on the Japanese art scene took place in my hometown Okayama."
